Many of our students have demanding full-time jobs, and we understand that traditional flight schools often can’t accommodate that type of flexibility and require that you fully commit—taking on huge loans, stepping away from your career, and having no other obligations. At FlyCruz, we work around your schedule. We’ve adapted our instruction so that much of the learning can be done at home—from ground lessons to briefings. That means when you come to the airport on your schedule, it’s all about hands-on flight and maximizing your time. Additionally, we offer free remote support throughout the week, so you get the guidance you need as you study, making your training as efficient and streamlined as possible.
A PILOT'S STORY
I’m Kjell Stamminger, founder of FlyCruz LLC and a dedicated flight instructor. But my path to this career wasn’t easy. While I was working multiple part-time jobs, I was also pursuing my flight training—every spare hour I could find. I struggled to balance the demands of work and the intense focus that flight training required. There were days I felt like I couldn’t keep both in the air - needless to say no flight school could provide the flexibility that I needed. I realized there had to be a better way—one that allowed aspiring pilots to stay on track, even as they balanced their jobs and family. That’s when I built the FlyCruz program—a flexible, supportive flight training model that lets students progress at their own pace, with the structure and mentorship they need. Today, I’m proud that this program is empowering the next generation of pilots.
